Cozy, in-home Baltimore family photos are some of my favorite things. I spent a winter afternoon with Raquel, Katie, Luis and their son, Lukas, in their home having a snack, playing with cars and generally doing those sort of lazy Sunday afternoon things that rarely get recorded.
When I asked Raquel what these photos meant to her she said,
These photos represent the essence of who we are in our sacred space – our home. They reflect the love, care and joy we have for and toward one another. We are a wholesome family where love simply abounds, and I know these photos genuinely depicted that.
We are a polyamorous family choosing to live out and proud about who we are. I think many individuals have misconceptions and preconceived notions about polyamory, and so we are trying to raise awareness all while showing the world what an unconventional, wholesome and loving family looks like. Our hope is to inspire and encourage people to live shamelessly and authentically.
