In 2012 we received a diagnosis that our son would not live long after birth. Instead of planning for a homecoming we were making end of life arrangements. On the day our son was born, which was also the same day he passed away, she came to the hospital and took photographs of our family. She was a silent witness to our pain but also our deep love. Jill captured moments of sadness but also sweet moments of tenderness. Not a day goes by that I don’t look at one of the images she so generously shared with us. I don’t know how she does it but she is truly a gift to families suffering an unimaginable loss. I treasure the pictures of our son and am so grateful to have those lasting memories of the short time we had with him.
