welcome home | BWI Homecoming Photographer
There are a few days in life that make it to the top of the list… your graduation, your wedding day, your children’s birthdays. These most memorable, most anticipated, most joyous times are few and far between, military spouses and children get to add another day to that list: homecoming.
It’s such a pleasure to be at BWI for those amazing days (and nights) when families wait for their loved one to land safely at home after so many months apart. Click here for information about booking your homecoming photography for free.
This sweet baby girl has spent much more of her life away from daddy than she has in his arms, but that’s all about to change…
Her big sister’s excitement was hard to contain, but she was so patient in those last agonizing moments!
There he is!
This moment is the one that really chokes me up. The little moment of celebration between mother and daughters – they did it together. It’s hard to think about your spouse being away for so long as a blessing but for me the most beautiful memory was having time with my child that wasn’t shared with anyone. It isn’t easy to be a “single mother,” but few get the chance to have so much time (as my daughter calls it) “just you and me.”

It seems like yesterday we were announcing this sweet baby would be arriving in April. Not long after, they learned she was a girl. While winter wouldn’t quit, we photographed their maternity portraits and I waited for the call to be there for her birth…
Mia is a dream to photograph and i look forward to watching her grow!
We also got to play in the cherry blossoms!

1st Nationwide Miracle Milk Stroll | Baltimore Photographer | Best for Babes
Heartlove Photography, LLC is proud to be the official photographer of the 1st Nationwide Miracle Milk™ Stroll
Human Milk Saves Lives. 500 U.S. & Canadian preemie infants die annually, and 5000 more are sickened, from Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). Feeding these fragile babies human milk has been shown to reduce the risk of NEC by 79%. NEC causes indescribable anguish to babies and parents. Just one NEC-related surgery can cost $200,000; not including lifelong complications and treatment. The AAP recommends donor milk for fragile babies, yet 60% of NICUs don’t use it. Miracle Milk™ Does EVERY Body Better.
Human milk is an immune-building, disease-busting fluid that contains hundreds of healthy bacteria and complex sugar compounds that have been shown to destroy harmful bacteria, like pneumococcus, E.Coli, Salmonella, even superbugs like C. Diff., a daily vaccine against viruses to which the mother is exposed, contains cancer-fighting cells & stem cells, is chock full of essential fatty acids (e.g., Omega 3′s that build and protect the brain & help with mood stability), and can even help older babies, children and adults to heal from illness.
baltimore newborn photographer gift registry | babyli.st
I’ve been musing for sometime about integrating a gift registry into my website so Baltimore moms-to-be could register for maternity and newborn photography services and products.
I’m no web designer, but I do do love a good DIY project to keep me up at night… said no photographer ever. But I took on the task anyway and it turns out it wasn’t so hard to adapt my current gallery software to allow gift orders.
I am pleased to announce you may now register with Heartlove Photography!
But what’s even better, you can incorporate photography service registries into an awesome website —> http://babyli.st
Baby List is a friendly and easy to use registry where you can add items from any online store or website.
They’ll assign you a personal Registry Happiness Consultant and she’ll get in touch with you personally within a day of starting your registry. And get this, if you call their help line, a real person with real advice answers. Plus they’ll even send you complimentary registration cards to add to shower invitations or announcements to direct your loved ones to one consolidated list.
If that wasn’t cool enough, what really sets Baby List apart is the way you add items to your list – you essentially “pin” them!
You set up a quick, free account and during the process you literally drag and drop an “Add to Babylist” button in your browser. Then, wherever you are in the inter webs when you find something you love, you just click that button and a window pops us to confirm your addition. So easy. SO fun.
One of the things I love most is this allows your loved ones to find those local, independent, work-at-home-mom shops that don’t sell at big box stores and giant ‘R Us-es. Your favorite etsy shop, the baby boutique up the street, a diaper service, vendors from your farmer’s market with a web presence…. they all make your list! And of course so do the big stores and Amazon – but this levels the playing field.
Want to get started? Click here to open up your registry with Heartlove Photography then hop on over to Baby List and add a few other things… like a Nose Frieda. Trust me, you’ll need one.
cherry blossoms | baltimore family photographer
I wonder if they did a study, if families with 4 children are happiest of all. The more I meet families with that magic number, the more I think it’s true. While I’m sure the day-in-day-out routine with 4 small children can be exhausting, the joy they share seems to make it all worth while. It was a joy to photograph this family of 6 under the cherry blossoms!
As kids get older, it’s rare to have an image with one parent and one child. Two hands = multitasking and group photos (usually with mom behind the camera) so we took the time to have each child pose with both mom and dad on their own.
Note the scraped knee in this next one… but the photo shoot went on! Tough guy did a great job
