Baltimore Birth Photographer | Intro to Photography for Birth Doulas

Join us for a vintage-styled Valentine portrait session. Props include an antique red wagon, red and pink balloons, pink metal chair, marquee letters, red roses, typewriter and aged book pages. Props can be arranged to have a mostly pink or mostly red theme to achieve a variety of poses in one set.
15 minute sessions will result in a total of 8-10 images. The $129 session fee includes your choice of 3 full-resolution digital images with print release. Additional digital images and discounted print packages will be available for purchase in your password-protected online gallery. These sessions are ideal for babies and children. We recommend scheduling 1 session per child in order to achieve the best variety of individual as well as sibling poses.

F. A. Q. :
What should my child wear?
This set looks best with just about any color – red, white, pink! I especially like little boys in just a pair of blue jeans (we can provide the suspenders!) Most importantly, let your child be comfortable. The theme goes great with comfortable clothes and layers – think cotton, denim and wool. We have many options for babies up to 24 months – please let me know if you’d like to use something from our wardrobe.
What ages are appropriate?
Babies who have very stable head control are best suited for this set. To get a variety of poses safely, babies should be able to hold their head up while laying on their belly or if propped up in a seated position. Generally, this happens around 3 months old. Younger babies are absolutely invited – you should expect less variety as they are limited to laying down. There is no child too old for this set!
Can I bring more than 1 child?
Siblings are invited! To give enough time for individual poses and group shots, we recommend booking 1 session per child.
How do I reserve a spot?
Click here to let me know you are interested! Please include your preferred time, number of children and age(s). Once we confirm a time, you will receive a link to purchase your session. Your time will be held for 24 hours from that point. If your time slot goes unpaid, your time will be given to the next person in line. If you’d like to Pay with check, cash or credit card in person, we are happy to make those arrangements.

You get a savings of $30-$100+ off each session (normally priced between $129-$199 including 3 files), extra digital images, first choice of dates/times,front of the line in editing so images are returned faster plus options to choose a different date/location.
These are perfect to capture many milestones in baby’s first years. You may use 2 sessions in 1 set to get 2x the time with 10 digital images – great for families with more than 2 children or kiddos who are slow to warm up.

I’ve been so lucky to photograph all 3 of my dear friend Melissa’s babies from the minute they were born (see the first 2 here and here). This time was especially sweet because baby #3 shares my name. <3 When I got the call around 7am, I threw a change of clothes in a bag and bounded out the door – if I was going to make it, I’d better not waste any time. Melissa still lives in North Carolina – it’s a 7 hour drive.
Even more special was getting to be there with our mutual friend, Megan – the photos that I appear in belong to her!
I made it about an hour before baby J made her arrival and it was such a joy to be able to be there as friend and photographer.

Outdoor Maternity Portraits | Pasadena, MD Pregnancy Photography
The afternoon we had planned included fall foliage at a local park… but the leaves hadn’t turned, and the park was closed on Tuesdays …. and the leftovers of Hurricane Joaquin were hitting Pasadena. Hurricane or not, these maternity images are some of my all time favorites.
For most maternity sessions, moms-to-be wear 1 outfit to the session then choose from the many dresses, fabrics and gowns in the studio to wear for a variety of images. Both dresses/fabrics here are available in the studio and adjust to fit a wide variety of sizes.
