At 8 weeks old, I never expected baby O to sleep like he did! Don’t be afraid that your baby is too “old” for newborn photos – in our Anne Arundel country photography studio we routinely photograph babies older than 2 weeks with great success. We did so many adorable poses with his parents and he didn’t make a peep. This was my first time photographing a newborn with turnout gear and I love the results! Enjoy baby O’s first portraits…

Maryland: Where’s My Midwife? Portrait Sessions to benefit the cause.

Regulations for The Maryland Licensure of Direct-Entry Midwives Act must be written before any Certified Professional Midwives can get a license in Maryland. Help us raise the funds to push past the finish line and get licenses into the hands of the Midwives who want to serve Maryland families. Without licenses for our midwives, Maryland families are no better off than they were before our bill passed.

I have never struggled to get a newborn to sleep as much as I did with this feisty little guy! He finally blinked a few times and settled in for some sweet sleeping newborn photos.
