A Scandinavian-inspired colorful wire-art set by The Colorful Berry at Indigo Physiotherapy! 15 minute sessions will result in about 20 images (but often many more!) in an online proofing gallery. The session cost is $149 including the session and your choice of 3 digital images.
I don’t have sample images yet – but the hand-made wire art is in the making! You can expect a bright set with conversation heart colors that will fit babies, children, families and couples of all ages. There will be hearts to hold and floating through the air. These images make for sweet updated milestone images, Valentine’s for the classroom or a small surprise to mail to your grandparents.
15 minutes is the perfect amount of time to catch a toddlers attention without wearing them out. Typically we can grab family, sibling and individual poses in that amount of time, but if you have a large group or would like more time feel free to book 2 appointments.
This set will look great in primary, pastel or neutral color clothing. I’d love to style you, just tell me your sizes and budget and I’ll take care of the shopping. This service is complementary!

Shooting at this gorgeous Baltimore location was so. much. fun. Indigo Physio isn’t typically a portrait destination – they are a practice of pelvic physical therapists and bodyworkers working together to elevate healing and care in the Roland Park community. With one-on-one, personalized treatment sessions, each of their providers can focus on individual goals for healing and returning to function with evidence-based care. It’s not every day that I show up to a physical therapy office to photograph families in the waiting room – but this is so much more than just an office.
The natural light makes for beautiful tones and the space is warm and welcoming. Dr. Sam Duflo welcomes other Baltimore locals into the space – giving local artists, educators and support group leaders a platform and location for their work.
This isn’t the first time I’ve partnered with another Baltimore-based location for limited edition portraits but I can say without a doubt this was the best experience I’ve ever had working in a borrowed space. Dr. Sam and her team went above and beyond to be sure I was supported by advertising the event online and at multiple places throughout the office and when I arrived it was completely ready for me and totally spotless. I am so proud to welcome my clients into a space like this.
I could go on all day about Indigo – both professionally and personally – as a client of the incredible therapists and body workers, their care has been unmatched…. but I’ll cut to the chase and show you some of the magic we created! As always, I only share images with permission. So while I photographed a few more sessions, these are the ones who have given me the okay to post 🙂

Shooting in my own backyard in Pasadena, MD was a blast! A truckload of pumpkins and a couple dozen kids made for many beautiful moments beneath the leaves.

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Jill. I’m a photographer. I’m queer. My partners and I have 3 kids and 4 cats between us.
My family is pretty typical in a lot of ways – we feel pretty normal so I sometimes forget that not everyone knows queer, polyamorous people. The truth is being polyamorous does make life a little more complicated sometimes but otherwise we don’t win any awards for loving more than one person at a time. We aren’t any less committed. If you have questions or you’re curious about how this works, I’m an open book.
While I do get in the photo quite a bit … (like in the incredible work of Caroline Fisher last winter) …sometimes I get to be my own family’s photographer. I’m so grateful I get to capture them as I see them.

underwater mini sessions | baltimore lifestyle photography
Let’s squeeze the most fun out of the last few weeks of summer. If your kids are part fish and love to be in the water, this is an adorable way to capture some summertime memories. We use a private pool so you’ll have the place to yourself. These sessions are really easy going – no hair and make-up, no coordinated wardrobe. Just bring your suit, floaties, goggles and a towel and we’ll jump and splash around for about an hour. There’s very little posing and no need to open your eyes underwater or be an olympic swimmer – if you and your children love being in the water, this is the session for you.

The session will result in 10-15 underwater/partial-underwater images. The gallery may be supplemented with above water images if your child does not swim underwater or independently.

When the forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms in Pasadena, most often we reschedule. It’s a big risk to get hair done and make-up on and kids prepared only to drive to a session that gets completely rained out. But when you take a big risk, sometimes you get rewarded with light sprinkles and a rainbow in cloudy skies. Thunderstorm skies are my most favorite to photograph and summertime sunset portrait sessions in Maryland almost never disappoint.

Doulas fulfill a vital role on the life-changing day a family welcomes their baby. Heartlove Photography offers a half-day workshop introducing the basics of birth photography and how it adds value to every doula’s work. Using the camera (or cell phone!) you already have, we will examine the ways you can get beautiful, emotional images alongside your primary roll giving doula support.
