Join photographer Jillian Mills and Mermaid Carissa on the beach for an incredible, magical mermaid experience. Your little merfolk will love meeting a real-life mermaid, putting on a life-like tail and smashing on the beach at the waterline with seashells and starfish!

Mermaid Carissa is an insured performer who loves interacting with children in imaginative play. Her character is sapphic, and she teaches kids about LGBT families and acceptance through stories and beautiful sticker artwork.

Available Tails:
Length is waist to floor. All measurements approximate and fabric has 4-way stretch.
Infant: Waist 17”-19″ Length 16”-22”
Size 6: Waist 22-24″ Length 24-28″
Size 8: Waist 23-25″ Length 28-32″
Size 10: 24-26″ Length 32-36″
This is one of every size the mertailor makes!
What if you don’t have my kid’s size?

You may use my monofin inside your tails.
Will Mermaid Carissa be there for our session?
Yes! Mermaid Carissa is wonderful with kids and will be there to interact, tell stories and be a part of your photos. If your child is shy around new people and would prefer a session on their own, you may book a session without Mermaid Carissa – the price is the same.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! We love dogs. The beach is open to the community so please only bring animals who are happy to meet other kids and dogs and be sure to keep them on a lead.

I’m just absolutely in love with this painted scene. The wooden dock, boulders, cattails and fishing pole feel like they live along the waters of the Chesapeake. This set is perfect for babies and children from birth through preschool – we had our cat model the set as it makes a great choice for small-medium pets too!
