Before we have our portrait sessions together, I want to set some expectations for what will happen from booking through image delivery. There’s a whole lot of information here. Please read it carefully so we can have the most successful mini session. Questions are appreciated – feel free to call or text Jill at 410-903-3265 (include your name).

Mini Sessions are a fun and affordable way to capture memories several times through the year. These sessions include 15 minute sessions with a themed set and your choice of 3 digital images. Additional digital images can be purchased separately but no additional purchase is required. This package includes your choice of 3 mini sessions to take place between 1/1/2024 and 12/31/2024. Each session results in at least 20 images and your package includes your choice of 3 per session.

Invoices will be sent by e-mail monthly and you will pay the invoice within 48 hours or your membership may be cancelled without refund. If you have extenuating circumstance, you will contact Jill via e-mail or phone immediately.

12 monthly payments of $65 are to be paid before 12/1/2024. Should you cancel early, each session will be billed at the advertised price of the session - up to $499 per session.

It is your responsibility to sign up for 3 sessions before 12/1/2024. All payments are non-refundable.

Please carefully check to be sure you know the address of the mini session – locations vary. The studio is open by appointment only.

All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you need to change the date and time of your session, we hope to accommodate your request within reason. We guarantee your happiness with the images that result from your session or we will delete the images and retake the portrait session at no additional cost. If you’d like a re-shoot, you must make this request within 24 hours of gallery delivery and before you download any images.

There is no variation in sets for mini sessions. The editing style, set and props are pre-determined. If you have questions about the style of this set, please ask them at the time of booking.

On the day of your portrait session check your e-mail and voicemail BEFORE YOU LEAVE as that’s how we'll contact you if any emergency arises and we need to cancel or reschedule at the last moment. Please be on time, but don’t show up too early as space is limited. Your session will last 15 minutes - arriving late means you will forfeit your time.

If you or your children wake up on the morning of your session and are feeling “under the weather” please do not keep your appointment. Bringing sick children to the studio will not result in the best images and puts our pregnant and newborn clients at risk. Contact me as soon as possible by phone or e-mail. Your session fee will be credited for a future mini session or rescheduled for a session with a possibly modified set within 14 days of the original date.

In the event of inclement weather, a decision to postpone or move the session indoors will be made about 4 hours before the session.

On the day of your session, please consider the small details in addition to your wardrobe. Please have well-kept finger nails, photo-ready footwear, freshly dyed hair, no tan lines, and body hair that you don't want to appear in photo removed.

Please be sure your child is fed and has a dry diaper before your scheduled appointment time. Do not offer snacks or food during the session. Please wipe their eyes, nose and mouth before the session. Drool is expected with most babies 4-12 months but snot, dried food and crumbs will not be edited. Please dress for the weather.

At your session, you may take “behind the scenes” shots including the photographer. You may not photograph the set or scene without the studio and photographer left in as context. We’d love to see the images - please tag @heartlovephoto wherever you share images.

Images will be saved to my computer and a back up location. In the event that an act of God or unforeseeable technology failure, we will reshoot the session or refund your session fee.

Each image will be considered for the final gallery. Images that do not meet my standards will be permanently deleted.

Final images will be edited for color, contrast and lighting as well as retouched for smoother skin. Within reason, this includes bruises, scrapes and cuts. NOT included in standard retouching: tan line removal, modifying body or face shape, braces removal, body hair removal, hair roots showing, chipped finger nail polish, congenital defects or differences. Additional and extensive retouching including stylistic preferences may be available for an additional fee.

3 weeks after your session, I’ll send you a link to an online gallery to view, order and download retouched photos. You should expect a minimum of 20 images but often more. The session fee includes your choice of 3 images to be delivered as JPEG images.

Your gallery will be open for 10 days - the expiration date will be listed in the e-mail with your gallery link. All digital image credits expire when your gallery expires.

Your gallery will have an expiration date. At that time the images will be archived and no longer available without a recovery fee. They are also no longer guaranteed to be available at all as technology changes, files corrupt, etc. The download link also expires on this date. If you need more time, please contact me before the expiration date. Additional digital files are available for purchase. Price is subject to change without notice. Downloads will be made as a ZIP file. Please contact me ASAP if the download does not work correctly.

The gallery includes the opportunity to purchase exquisite prints, products and wall art. I strongly urge you to make an investment in a piece of artwork that is tangible!

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to download and back-up the image files. Make a copy of the images and store them in a separate location. Treat each file as irreplaceable. Once I see a download has been made, I am no longer responsible for the images. Please consider this if you allow a friend or relative to download the images.

Due to the custom nature of print and product orders, there are no refunds after payment is made. Products damaged in delivery or misprinted will be replaced. Heartlove Photography is not responsible for products damaged while in your possession due to mishandling, water or UV damage, etc.
